Best Practices
Latin American Space Challenge highly recommend all participantes to read all best practices, including basic information, important recommendations, warnings and prohibitions.

Basic information for all Spectators, Rocketeers, Satelliteers, Staff and Volunteers:
Sugarcane Launch Range may have temperatures from 15ºC to 40°C.
There may be rain during the event.
Wildlife is present, such as mosquitoes, small spiders and scorpions.
If intends to use Walkie Talkies or UAVs, contact LASC Organization by e-mail.
If you need any help, feel free to ask those who have the “Operatios Control” badges.
Important Recommendations:
Drink lots of water and beverages! There will be an Water Fountain and an on-site Food Court.
Sunscreen, sunglasses and hats are highly recommended.
Use long pants, closed-toe shoes, and insect repellent to prevent insect and animal bites.
Read completely all LASC Documentation System.
Bring your own Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Do not use orange or green safety vests without authorization.
Warnings and Prohibitions
Warnings for all teams participating in the Space Challenge:
Electrical supply is not guarantee. Internet is not guaranteed.
Do not bring Starlinks and electrical generators without authorization.
Do not assemble motors, ejection charges and igniters before LASC Ops Control authorization.
Do not transport loaded rocket motors in cars, buses, vans, or other vehicles.
Prohibitions:
Any type of alcohol, smoking, or drugs. Do not use Artificial noisemakers (e.g. JBL).
Cooking onsite or any type of food delivery.
Coolers, filled gallons or bottles with liquids other than water are prohibited.
Armed pyrotechnic/pyrogenic or under high tension/pressure equipment prior launch operations.
Operate a rocket with armed pyrotechnic/pyrogenic devices or high-tension/high-pressure systems without LASC authorization.
