The Latin American Space Challenge provides a vibrant and engaging environment supported by professional event infrastructure, including emergency services, launch facilities, and dedicated areas to ensure a safe and memorable experience for everyone involved.

Our staff and volunteers work tirelessly throughout the year to deliver this world-class event for students, sponsors, and spectators. Even if a team is not prepared to launch an experimental rocket or satellite, there are still valuable opportunities to present their projects and represent their institutions.

To make this extraordinary experience possible, funding is essential. Given the costs of delivering a comprehensive event, specific fees are applied within the LASC ecosystem and are detailed in the following sections and in the section Tickets, Fees, and Payments (PSP) of the Event Guidance and Milestones (EGM).

Payment Methods

In 2026, the Space Challenge uses Stripe for secure, fast, and seamless payments. Please complete all required fields, including team name, to ensure smooth processing. The following methods are accepted by Stripe: Credit and Debit Cards, Apple Pay, and Google Play.

For Brazilian Teams, the Space Challenge provides an additional payment method called PIX. The PIX payment method is a specific system created by the Brazilian Central Bank to facilitate transactions across the country. Please read the section "Paying with PIX".

All team members willing to officially participate in the event shall purchase a Rocketeer/Satelliteer Ticket. This ticket includes access to the event and specific restricted areas, a kit containing a badge, lanyard and a promotional t-shirt, and a digital certificate of participation.

• Rocketeer/Satelliteer Ticket: 40 USD

• “Late” Rocketeer/Satelliteer Ticket: 80 USD

The deadline for on-time or late tickets can be found in the Section Master Schedule (MSC) of the Event Guidance and Milestones (EGM).

Final Deadline: July 12, 2026.

A participant holding a valid Rocketeer/Satelliteer Ticket may request a full refund within 7 (seven) calendar days from the date of purchase. To do so, the participant must contact the LASC Staff by emailing lasc@lasc.space with the subject line: “Rocketeer/Satelliteer Ticket – Refund”. Refund processing may take up to 30 (thirty) calendar days.

Late Rocketeer/Satelliteer Ticket

The Rocketeer/Satelliteer ticket costs R$ 420.00 when paid via PIX to the CNPJ key: 35.800.920/0001-79. You may pay for multiple tickets in a single transaction; simply multiply the ticket price by the number of tickets you wish to purchase.

2026 LASC PIX - {Mission ID}

You may use any one of your Mission IDs. The email must include the following information for each participant:

• Team Name

• Full Name

• CPF

• Mobile Number

• E-mail Address

• Proof of Payment

• T-Shirt Size (available sizes: S, M, L, or XL only; do not use other sizing conventions such as P, G, GG, etc.)

If you have paid for more than one participant, you must send a single email containing the information for all participants in an Excel spreadsheet.

Payments that cannot be identified will be refunded after seven (7) calendar days, and penalties may apply.
