The Latin American Space Challenge (LASC) Organization would like to explain and define the tickets structure for the 2023 LASC. There are three separate tickets stated on the Section 6.4 of the 2023 LASC Rules & Requirements Document. 

LASC Staff works year-round planning a world class event for the students, sponsors, and spectators. Even if teams aren’t ready to launch their rocket, there are still unparalleled opportunities to show off their projects and promote their schools.

Also, LASC provides an engaging atmosphere for the teams and public to enjoy, professional event spaces, emergency services, launch bases, etc. Teams will pay the following fees to participate in the Latin American Space Challenge.

Team Ticket (BRL 1000,00)

The Team Ticket is necessary for the LASC Organization to make down payments on trophies, certificates, web services, launch pads, event structure and additional services before the event. All accepted LASC Teams shall purchase only 1 (one) Team Ticket independently on the number of submitted projects.

As stated on Section 4 of the 2023 LASC Master Schedule Document, the deadline for payment of Team Ticket is April 7th, 2023.  Payment after this date will be considered "late", and the ticket will increase to BRL 1500,00. Each Team Ticket should be paid as soon as possible, and is refundable up until May 5th. After this date, no refunds will be given.

Rocketeer & Satelliteer Ticket (BRL 75,00)

Accepted Team's Members willing to participate in the onsite event shall have a Rocketeer & Satelliteer Ticket to access specific areas of the event, such as the Rocket Assembly Area. Also, this ticket is mandatory for those willing to receive a digital certificate of participation.

As stated on Section 4 of the 2023 LASC Master Schedule Document, the deadline for payment of Rocketeer & Satelliteer Ticket is May 5th, 2023.  Payment after this date will be considered "late", and the ticket will increase to BRL 150,00. Refunds: ticket cancellation request or refund request shall be made within 7 (seven) calendar days of the date of purchase by sending an e-mail to lasc@lasc.space.

Team Members are provided LASC items which may include T-Shirts, patches, lanyards, etc. However, due to the size of the event, it is often difficult to keep track of supplies. Items are provided in a "first-come, first-served" basis during event registration. Please make sure to arrive early.

Spectator Ticket (BRL 75,00)

Spectators will be welcomed to join the 2023 Latin American Space Challenge. There will be a “Spectator Area'' for parents, friends and people interested in Science, Technology and Space Activities.

More information on Spectator Tickets will be given in May, 2023.

The LASC Organization supports different Accepted Teams every year with subsidies and incentives. Our team knows how difficult is to raise funds in every country participating in the Latin American Space Challenge. This year, due to the 2023 Turkey–Syria earthquake, all teams from Türkiye can make a request to lasc@lasc.space to exempt their Team Tickets and Rocketeer & Satelliters Tickets.

We are sorry for all losses and this is the minimum that we can make to support the reconstruction not only of your cities and houses, but your hope in the future. Stay strong.
